On 100% Belgian linen, a cotton lining, and the particular logic of a swim short that performs from the ocean to the dinner table.
Most swim shorts are designed for the water alone. The PP swim short is made for the full day — the water, the terrace, the walk to lunch, the hour before dinner when the light changes and the day shifts without you having to.
The construction begins with the outer fabric: 100% Belgian linen, certified by origin. The same cloth used in the shirts — here applied to a different use. In the water, linen dries fast. Out of it, the fabric breathes, holds its shape, and carries none of the stiffness or the shine that synthetic swim fabrics bring out of the sea.
The lining is 100% cotton. No synthetic mesh. No nylon.
This is the detail that changes everything. Cotton against the skin sits differently from any synthetic alternative — it moves with the body rather than against it, and it does not hold heat or moisture in the way that performance fabrics do. The combination of Belgian linen outside and cotton inside produces a swim short that functions in the water and feels, out of it, like a garment rather than sportswear. The length and cut position the short at the point where the beach and the resort meet — which, at One&Only or Four Seasons, is often the same place.
