PP Bespoke Shoes — The Complete Guide to the Private Atelier Programme
PP bespoke shoes — one-of-one creation, natural fabric, personalised embroidery, handmade Italy.
PP bespoke shoes are a different proposition from any other luxury shoe — they are not chosen from a catalogue, not produced in a warehouse, and not available to anyone else in the world in the same design. Every pair is a one-of-one creation: a single design, made for a single person, in the fabric and colour they have chosen, with the embroidery detail they have specified. This is the shoe that Mike described as worth €10,000 euros — a bespoke commission in which Pieter hand-painted the fabric and created a silk specifically named for the place where Mike lives and trades.
The process. The PP bespoke shoe process begins at pieterpetros.com — ordering the Bespoke Shoes programme initiates a direct consultation with the PP team, typically by email or WhatsApp within 24 hours. During the consultation, the design is developed: the fabric is chosen from the available natural materials (silk, linen, cotton, velvet, and exclusive rare combinations), the colour is selected, and the embroidery is specified — the buyer's own initials, their logo, or a design created in collaboration with Pieter.
“PP bespoke shoes are a different proposition from any other luxury shoe. They are not chosen from a catalogue, not produced in a warehouse, and not available to anyone else in the world in the same design.”
— Pieter Petros, founderThe fabric. Natural materials throughout — silk for the most luminous and formally distinguished result (the Monte Carlo I was a hand-painted natural silk); linen for the most resort-appropriate and most naturally breathable; velvet for the most visually distinctive and the most evening-oriented; cotton for the most casual and most relaxed. The choice of fabric determines the occasion register of the shoe as much as the design.
The embroidery. Personal embroidery — initials, logo, or a custom design — is stitched into the shoe as part of the production process. This is the detail that makes the bespoke shoe entirely unrepeatable: the same fabric and colour in another pair would still carry different embroidery, making each bespoke pair unique to its owner.
The result. A shoe that exists nowhere else in the world, in a fabric and colour chosen by you, with your own detail stitched into it. Handmade in Italy. A one-of-one.
