The PP Linen Set — Designed for the Season
On the two-piece as an object, the seashell button, and dressing for a place where the light changes everything.
A two-piece set is a particular kind of garment. It resolves a decision most wardrobes leave open — what goes with what. When the set is made from a single cloth, cut from the same hand, finished with the same attention, the answer is already given.
The PP linen set begins there.
The fabric is certified Belgian linen — the same cloth used across the men's collection, expressed here in a different form. In the women's set it takes a different form: a blouse and shorts designed to move through the full range of a resort day without requiring thought between one moment and the next.
The seashell button is specific to the women's blouse. It comes from the ocean — gathered, shaped, finished — and carries a quality distinct from any manufactured alternative. Each one is slightly different. The colour shifts with the light. At a resort, where the setting is already doing a great deal of the work, this kind of detail reads quietly and lands precisely.
"The set was designed for a particular kind of day — long, unhurried, and lived close to the water."
— Pieter Petros, founderThe shorts carry a corozo nut button — pressed from the fruit of the palm, naturally hard, naturally varied. The two buttons differ in material and origin, yet share the same logic: both come from the earth, both belong to the same piece, both disappear into the garment rather than drawing attention to themselves.
The PP women's linen collection is available across a range of colours — from the warm neutrals to the more vivid shades. The Dubarry, warm and saturated, reads differently in morning light than in the evening. The cooler tones — sky, ivory — carry a particular ease in heat. Each colour is the same cloth. The choice is one of mood.
Sizes in the set can be mixed — the blouse and shorts chosen independently. A practical detail that reflects how the garment is worn. The fit of a blouse and the fit of shorts are separate questions, and the collection allows them to be answered separately.
The set is present at One&Only and Four Seasons properties — Aesthesis, Kéa Island, Puerto Rico. Addresses where the pace of the day and the quality of the light are already considered. The garment was made for exactly these conditions.
Two pieces. One cloth. A day already resolved.
