What to Wear in Ibiza for Men — The Complete PP Wardrobe

On Ibiza’s three registers — the beach, the clubs, the old town — what the island asks of men and the PP linen wardrobe across a full week.

The existing Ibiza article covers the general wardrobe. This piece addresses the specific question asked by men — what the Ibiza context demands, how the island's multiple registers work, and what the PP linen wardrobe looks like across a full Ibiza week.

Ibiza operates across three entirely different registers in a single day. The morning is easy — the beach, the cala, the boat. The afternoon is the beach club, where the visual standard is set by a crowd that includes people who dress specifically for the occasion. The evening is the transition from sunset drinks to dinner to the club, where the register rises and falls depending on the venue.

“The beach clubs of Ibiza set a visual standard that is communicated without a written dress code. Natural linen registers in a crowd where the right garment is noticed.”

— Pieter Petros, founder

For the morning and the boat: a PP linen shirt in white or oyster, open, with linen shorts or swim shorts. The calitas of the north coast — Cala d'Hort, Cala Conta, Cala Salada — are among the most beautiful small beaches in the Mediterranean. The boat trip and the swim, followed by lunch at a beach restaurant, is the morning that linen was built for.

For the beach clubs — Destino, Ushuaïa, Blue Marlin: the standard at Ibiza's leading beach clubs is visual and specific. A PP linen shirt in a composed colourway, worn correctly, reads as the right level of consideration for these venues. The fabric is quality that registers in a crowd where a great deal of money is spent on appearance.

For the evening — dinner in Santa Gertrudis or at a restaurant in the old town: navy PP linen with linen trousers and leather loafers. Ibiza's evening restaurant scene has a composed register at its better end; the linen wardrobe carries it correctly from the 9pm dinner to the late evening.

For the old town — Dalt Vila: the medieval fortified old town of Ibiza, with its restaurants and bars within the walls, has a character that is more considered than the beach and club scene. A PP linen shirt in a composed tone, tucked with linen trousers, belongs here.
