PP Shoes — The Complete Guide to the Handmade Italy Collection
The complete PP shoes collection guide — materials, designs, colourways, personalisation, sizing, and the four-to-six-week making process.
The PP shoe collection is built on two materials and one commitment: Italian velvet, Italian leather, and hand-stitching throughout. Every design in the collection is made to order at the Italian atelier, personalised with embroidery, and delivered within four to six weeks of the order being confirmed. There is no stock, no immediate availability, and no assembly line. The shoe exists after the order; not before.
The materials. The exterior is Italian velvet — chosen for the depth and richness of colour it produces, the tactile quality of its surface, and its visual distinction from the conventional leather loafer. Velvet ages with character: the pile develops a patina with wear that leather does not, and the colour deepens slightly at the points of contact that confirm a shoe is being worn rather than displayed. The interior is Italian leather — soft, supple, warming and forming to the foot over the first sessions of wear. The sole is hand-stitched: the construction that allows resoling and confirms that the shoe was assembled rather than manufactured.
“There is no stock, no immediate availability, and no assembly line. The shoe exists after the order; not before.”
— Pieter Petros, founderThe designs. The PP shoe collection covers the velvet loafer as the foundation design — available in multiple colourways — and extends to additional designs that use the same velvet and leather materials in different silhouettes. Each design is available with PP monogram embroidery or with the wearer's own initials as the standard personalisation option.
The colourways. Aubergine — the signature PP shoe colour, rich and specific enough to read as a statement rather than a neutral. Navy — the most versatile option, pairing with every linen combination in the PP collection. Forest green — for those whose wardrobe has the depth to carry it. Black — for the most formal evening occasions. Additional colourways by bespoke commission.
The sizing and fitting. As made-to-order shoes at a standard European size, PP shoes are sized to the buyer's specified size. The Italian leather lining adjusts to the foot over the first wearings; any minor fit concerns settle within the first three to five sessions.
