Luxury Resort Clothing — The PP Natural Fabric Standard

Pieter Petros September 2026 5 min read

Resort clothing and luxury resort clothing are not the same category. Resort clothing is what the hotel boutique sells: a linen-blend shirt at a premium price, a synthetic cover-up with a luxury hotel logo, a polyester kaftan in a resort colour palette. Luxury resort clothing — genuinely natural, genuinely certified, genuinely handmade — is what PP makes.

The distinction at the fabric level. PP's resort shirts are made from certified Belgian linen: 100% natural flax, grown and processed in the Belgium–northern France region, independently verified by the Belgian Linen® certification mark. The certificate of origin ships with every qualifying garment. No hotel boutique shirt comes with a certificate of origin for its fabric. PP's do.

“Resort clothing and luxury resort clothing are not the same category. Resort clothing is what the hotel boutique sells. Luxury resort clothing — genuinely natural, genuinely certified — is what PP makes.”

— Pieter Petros, founder
