Buy a Linen Set for Women — The PP Guide to the Natural Fabric Set

How to buy a women's linen set — the matched fabric run, seashell and corozo buttons, the combined SKU, separate sizing, care.

The women's linen set — a matched blouse and shorts in the same certified Belgian linen — is the most complete single purchase available in the PP women's collection. Understanding what distinguishes a quality linen set before buying is the direct route to purchasing correctly the first time.

The matched fabric question. The most important quality marker in a women's linen set is whether the blouse and shorts are made from the same fabric run — literally the same cloth, cut at the same time, dyed in the same batch. If the two pieces are from different fabric runs, the colour match will drift over time and through washing. PP ladies linen sets are produced from the same certified Belgian linen cloth run for both pieces — the match is exact at purchase and maintained through correct washing.

The buttons — seashell and corozo. PP ladies linen set blouses carry seashell buttons — naturally sourced from the ocean. The shorts carry corozo nut buttons — made from the tagua palm nut, also naturally sourced. These are the correct natural materials for each piece, both aligned with the PP natural fabric philosophy.

The set is sold as a combined SKU. The PP ladies linen set is sold as the complete set — blouse and shorts together. The pieces are not sold as separates at the point of purchase. This is a design decision: the set is conceived as a matched pair, not two garments that happen to coordinate.

The sizing. The PP ladies linen set allows separate sizing for the blouse and the shorts — the buyer can select different sizes for each piece. This is practically important because upper and lower body proportions often differ; most set collections do not accommodate this.

Washing the set. Always wash the blouse and shorts together in the same load to maintain the colour match between the pieces over time. Separate washing at different temperatures or with different detergents causes the colourways to drift apart over repeated washes.
