Austria's PP cluster is centred on two cities that together constitute the most formally observed summer luxury circuit in central Europe: Vienna, the year-round imperial capital with the Staatsoper and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and Salzburg, the summer cultural capital with the Festival. Between them, they produce the highest concentration of formally observed cultural luxury occasions in the PP central European cluster.
