What to Wear in Paxos — The Complete PP Wardrobe

Gaios harbour, Antipaxos Voutoumi beach, the Ionian sailing circuit — the PP wardrobe for the most private of the Greek islands.

Pieter Petros August 2026 5 min read Destination

Paxos is a 10-kilometre island south of Corfu — among the most private and most naturally beautiful of the Greek islands, with olive groves covering almost every hectare, the Venetian village of Gaios as its capital, and the island of Antipaxos immediately to the south, whose Voutoumi beach is counted among the finest in the Ionian. Paxos has no airport; superyachts anchor here rather than cruise ships.

For Gaios harbour. The Venetian harbour village — the main square, the tavernas and cafes facing the water. A PP linen shirt in white or a warm natural with linen shorts or linen trousers and leather shoes.

“Paxos has no airport — access is by ferry from Corfu or Parga, or by private boat. The lack of an airport limits visitor density and maintains the quiet luxury character. This is where superyachts anchor, not cruise ships.”

— Pieter Petros, founder

For Lakka and Loggos. The two smaller villages on the northern and middle coasts — the quietest and most naturally beautiful sailing anchorages on the island. White PP linen with linen shorts for the daytime; navy for the evening taverna.

For Antipaxos — Voutoumi beach. The boat trip from Paxos to Voutoumi — the lagoon-like turquoise water and the white pebble beach. Natural swim shorts and a white PP linen shirt for the boat; the same for the beach.

For the Ionian sailing circuit. The circuit from Corfu through Paxos and Antipaxos — natural swim shorts and white PP linen for the boat deck throughout.
