The Palma Vela is the spring regatta in the Bay of Palma — held each April/May, organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma, and distinct in character from the Copa del Rey in July. The Palma Vela takes place in the Mallorca spring, when the island is at its most naturally beautiful before the summer crowds.
