Corsica in July and August is consistently 30–35 degrees on the coast — hotter than the Riviera, with a more exposed quality to the light. Certified Belgian linen manages this coast more effectively than any alternative: white for the beach, earth tones for the maquis-covered interior, navy for the evening in Calvi or Bonifacio.

For the Hotel La Villa Calvi. The terraced property above the Calvi bay — the most formally observed dinner occasion in northern Corsica. White PP linen for the hotel pool; navy with linen trousers and leather shoes for the La Villa restaurant evening.

For the Balagne coast beaches. The beaches between Calvi and Île Rousse — the most turquoise water in Corsica. White PP linen over natural swim shorts; leather sandals. Natural swim shorts for the Mediterranean swimming.

For the Bonifacio citadel day trip. The fortified citadel town above the white limestone cliffs at the southern tip. A PP linen shirt in white with linen trousers and leather shoes for the citadel walk.

For the Corsican interior. The Castagniccia chestnut forest, the Niolo valley. Earth-tone PP linen with linen trousers for the interior villages.
