What to Wear at a Luxury Resort

On dressing for places where the setting has already considered everything — and the wardrobe should follow.

Pieter Petros June 2026 4 min read Luxury resort wear

A luxury resort has a particular quality of light. Morning arrives slowly. The pace of the day is deliberate. The spaces — whether a terrace above the Aegean or a poolside at a Four Seasons — have been considered with care, and they ask the same of the people who move through them.

The wardrobe at a resort moves between occasions without announcement — from early morning to a long lunch, from the water to an evening table. What it needs, above all, is to feel right without effort.

Belgian linen moves through this environment with ease.

The fabric breathes in heat. It holds its shape through a full day. It requires no adjustment between settings. A PP linen shirt worn at the pool at noon is the same shirt at dinner — the cloth has simply settled further into itself, and looks better for having been worn.

"The right garment at a resort is the one you forget you are wearing — until someone notices it."

— Pieter Petros, founder

The Pieter Petros collection was shaped by this world. The founder spent seventeen summers on Spetses — a Greek island of particular quietness, where the pace of life and the quality of light informed everything that followed. One&Only Aesthesis and One&Only Kéa Island carry the collection now. So does Four Seasons Puerto Rico.

For women, the PP linen set — blouse and shorts in certified Belgian linen, finished with seashell buttons sourced from the ocean — moves between the same moments with the same ease. Lightweight enough for midday. Refined enough for the evening table. The seashell button carries a quiet reference to the sea that sits naturally in a resort setting.

Every piece is handmade at our Dubai atelier and leaves with a certificate of origin. The provenance of the fabric — certified Belgian linen, grown in the specific climate of northern Belgium and France — is documented. At a resort where every detail is chosen deliberately, the garment you wear should be no different.

A luxury resort is a place where things are done properly. The wardrobe should be no different.
