What to Wear in Antigua — The Complete PP Wardrobe

What Antigua asks — English Harbour, the north coast resorts, the beaches, Sailing Week — the PP linen wardrobe.

Antigua has 365 beaches — one for each day of the year, as the island's claim goes — and a sailing culture that is among the strongest in the Caribbean. English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard in the south, the luxury resorts of the north coast, and the extraordinary natural harbour that has sheltered sailors since the age of sail give Antigua a character that is both historically layered and naturally beautiful. The wardrobe reflects both.

English Harbour and the sailing culture. The historic dockyard, the marina restaurants, the bars where the sailing community gathers during Antigua Sailing Week — the most celebrated regatta in the Caribbean. A PP linen shirt in white or natural over linen shorts and leather deck shoes. The sailing wardrobe that carries the marina and the race course viewing equally correctly.

“Antigua’s sailing culture is among the strongest in the Caribbean. The wardrobe reflects both the historic dockyard and the luxury resorts of the north coast.”

— Pieter Petros, founder

The north coast resorts. Jumby Bay, Curtain Bluff, the luxury hotels of the north coast — resort hotel standards that reward natural fabric in composed colourways. White PP linen over natural swim shorts for the beach; a navy PP linen shirt with linen trousers and leather shoes for the resort evening. For women: a PP women's linen set in oyster or a warm natural for the daytime; a deeper colourway for the evening.

The beaches. Half Moon Bay, Dickenson Bay, the quieter coves of the south — white PP linen over swim shorts or a swimsuit, leather sandals. The beach combination that belongs in Antigua's extraordinary natural setting.
